Immediately after arriving aboard his new ship, Jaden assisted in an emergency operation of what would be his first patient. Though the medical staff tried everything to save the patient, he died and Jaden was forced to confront not only the loss of his first patient but the painful memories of his parents own death.
Soon after The new crew’s mission was to repair and make the station operational again for the protection and interests of the USS Yeager recaptured Space Station Federation from enemies foreign or domestic. With the help of supply ships delivering additional personnel, supplies and modern equipment, Sierra -18 was transformed from pirates, an old dilapidated space station into a revitalized and formidable outpost for the Yeager crew was reassigned Federation. Jaden assisted with repairing and transferred to rehabbing the stationstations Sickbay.

Jules had been promoted and accepted the assignment of First Officer on the USS Dauntless, then moved up the ranks to captain the USS Yeager.
While serving on a space station and a starship were different, each had their own unique challenges and rewards. Jaden worked hard to carry out these duties with all diligence expected of a Star Fleet Officer.
After several successful missions aboard the USS Copernicus, Jaden was selected as the Commanding Officer for the USS Mercy, a new class medical cruiser. The ship is well suited for his medical and command experience.
Daniel who was now 15 years old had contacted Jaden to tell him that his mother had died and before her death revealed to him that Jaden was his father. Jaden had remembered Amanda and the night they spent together while studying for finals before they graduated the Academy. He had no reason to doubt Daniel and when he say the boy, Jaden knew it was his son.
Jaden opened a civilian medical clinic on the outskirts of New Orleans serving those in the surrounding area just outside the city. Here he worked and raised Daniel.
When Daniel graduated high school, he wanted to enter Star Fleet Academy, though privately, Jaden wished he wouldn't. Still he supported Daniel's decision and after four years at the Academy Daniel graduated and now serves an officer in Star Fleet.

The ion storm caused several of the crew members to experience hallucinations and other neurological problems. Jaden discovered a way to counteract this and developed inoculations for the crew. Fearing a shortage of inoculations, Jaden did not inculcate himself. He became ill but thanks to Doctor Callum Hicks, he recovered.
After the ion storm, Jaden was promoted and assigned as Chief Medical Officer of the USS Dauntless under the command of Rear Admiral Dan Wueste. While serving aboard the Dauntless, Jaden decided to take the Command Bridge Officer's Test. Although he did not know then if he wanted to go into Command, he thought it would be good experience. He passed the test with no problems, however the experience forced him to deal with his emotions and fears in regard to his parents death in the line of duty.
When serving on the Dauntless, Jaden became close friends with the Chief Tactical Officer, Zor Kayzon and Medical Officer, Kamble Ross. Together they endured the missions of the Dauntless and forged a close friendship. They all transferred to the USS Pulsar with the rest of the Dauntless crew when Rear Admiral Wueste was given command of the Battleship. After Jaden was promoted and assigned as First Officer of Sierra-18, Kamble replaced him as Chief Medical Officer, and then later named First Officer of the Yeager. Zor was also promoted to First Officer of the Pulsar.

His son, Daniel informed him that his mother was Amanda Jackson and 9 months after both had graduated from the Academy, Daniel was born. Amanda did not want disrupt Jaden's Star Fleet career and decided not to tell Jaden about Daniel and decided to raise him on her own. After much soul searching, Jaden decided to retire from Star Fleet and raise his son in New Orleans at the home of his grandparents. He would do his best to make up for the lost time.
