Changes

| History= Christian was born and raised on the ''USS Sheffield '' along with his sister Amy they . They were both liked by the crew and the [[Captain ]], as there were not that many children on the ''Sheffield''. While Amy preferred to spend time with their mother learning how to fly, Christian spent all his time with their father , either tinkering with the old motorcycle engines , or in later years , in the engine room. The time with his father left him with a life -long fascination with machinery , and he would often take things apart just to put them back together. It was also during this time he developed his dislike for the ferengi [[Ferengi]], as several deals with them for parts turned out to be far too expensive.

 On his 14th Birthdaybirthday, Christian was working alongside a Junior Engineer on a shuttle when there was a plasma rupture , and the engineer pushed Grix clear , and sealed the bay behind him. Christian never really recovered from this , and his greatest fear stems from this moment. His Father father was reluctant to let him work in the engine room again , but at the boy's insistence , that he was allowed back and worked along side him and many engineers as they worked on the ship's systems.

 The years passed quickly , and when the 17 -year -old Christian visited [[Betazed ]], he met and fell in love with Zaira Morgan , the half Beatzoid -[[Betazoid]] daughter of the [[Earth ]] [[Ambassador]], they got on really well and . They had a very passionate affair , until the day she told him that her mother had promised her to one of the rulers of the 7 houses House's sons. In an instant , Christian had lost the woman he had thought he would spend his life with. He had fallen for her as they had spent time together originally just as friends , but then as they got closer , a kiss and more until they both realised they were in love. To be told it was over because of the arrangement didn't help , and Christian was devastated, being told she still loved him didn't help , and he left not only as soon as he could , but after telling her he hoped she was happy but he never wanted to see her again. He left with the girl in tears and made his way to the tree and the bench they used to sit and talk on.

 The 18 year old Chris then took a string of jobs on freighters . as he tried to cure his broken heart with Whiskey whiskey and other women in an effort to forget her, . Finally at the age of 22 , he was accepted to Starfleeet [[Starfleet Academy ]], and enrolled as an [[Engineering ]] [[Cadet]].

 Grix had just started his first posting following graduation as a mid ship man[[midshipman]], when he was assigned to a mission that would force him to break the date he had that night with a young Security Officer and to make things worse he could not tell anyone.

 The mission was going to plan , until the shuttle was hit by a blast to the port nacelle. It took all of Grix 's ability as a pilot to bring the shuttle down , although not in one piece as the shuttle broke up on impact 2 members of the crew were killed immediately , while Grix and the passenger were badly injured but survived. He suffered multiple broken bones and a head injury that caused him to lose his memory.

 The next two years saw him in Starfleet medical , firstly in an induced coma , and then learning to walk again along with many, many hours recovering his memory. He now had recovered most of his memories of everything before the crash, but still cannot remember what happened following the crash , until he woke up in a ship sickbay 48 hours later. He knew it was a ship even though at the time he could not remember his name or how he had got there.
