|History= Keval was born on [[Andoria]]. As soon as he was old enough he applied to join Star Fleet because he wanted to do something exciting and worth while. In doing so he knew that it would put pressure on him to get married. His parents do often say this on communications to him and ask whether he has found a mate yet. Keval just passes them off, or tries to, but he knows one day he will have to with regards to the traditions of his people. Keval does carry an Andorian Dagger that is found in a box in his quarters. Given to him by his grandfather once he came of adult age. He uses it mainly for ritual reasons and not wanting to display it on the basis his father didn't like his chosen career path as it wasn't as honourable in his eyes as servicing in the Andorian Fleet.

Having left his younger sister back on his home world with his parents, he did feel rather separated from his own kind even through he had met a few friends in Star Fleet. There was someone in his past that he had the chance to marry but his career choice got in the way. Arriving at the Acadmey the first two years were a struggle for Keval to adapt to a different way of life.

Once completing the Academy, Keval's first assignment was to a small observation outpost near his home world attached to the escort team in a fighter squadron for a few months. After which ch'Alev was relieved to reassigned to the [[USS Dauntless, BC-1553|Dauntless]]. It was a pleasure to be on a bigger ship. However, his world's past came back to haunt Keval when rebel Vulcan's got on board and took over the ship. Even now, the engineer who was killed in front of him, Keval sometimes sees her scared eyes in his mind. After that mission, ch'alev was re-posted again to the [[USS Pegasus, CL-2500|Pegasus]]. Within all this moving he never really got the chance to make a few friends. It was known for his species to be frosty but even so Keval tried his best to remove this train of thought in other species minds.

Keval's first mission on the Pegasus was to be a fair more eventful one. It ended up with the crew taking sides and the First Officer Azernal by accident shooting the Commanding Officer Cooper dead. It turned out to be a parasite had taken over the away team, however, the stress level of the crew was raised higher then before when the away team had been told Bajor had been destroyed. The news was unbelievable, so with some help with the residence of Weyden the Pegasus made a leap across space to ended up sitting directly on the spot of Sierra 18 use to be. Debris from a mixture of ships, Klingon and Federation floated aimless about. It was then that the real scale of the attacked dawned on them all.

Keval was very sad that the Pegasus was decommissioned plus having started to get to know some fellow officers he now had to leave them again. Himself and his fellow officers were re-assigned. ch'alev however, had requested a transfer to the USS Titan. It was partly because he had heard they needed a Tactical Officer in their Flotilla. With the current climate ch'alev thought it would be the best place for his skills. Even through ch'alev had been re-assigned twice in a two year period it knocked his confidence a bit in making friends or even getting settled in on aboard ship.

Upon his arrival on the USS Ozaki, his life seemed to change a lot. The ship and crew stuck together longer then Keval had before. It seemed a world away from what he had been used to. Even so, it took him a long time to settle in. When Luna Pond came aboard things changed even more for the better as the blond bombshell actually wanted to date him. Much to his parents disgust. Keval carried on their relationship until she was transferred off to the USS Sheridan. Being on two different ships had really cut down them being able to hold down any sort of relationship. The return of the Borg was something no one could have expected. The Ozaki was damaged beyond repair it seemed and the rumours of another transfer to another vessel came up. Keval was sure that once again the crew that he now classed as friends would indeed be sent to different ships. Lucky enough, the USS Nikola Tesla. A brand new ship was available and they were all transferred over together. Keval was happy as it saved all this making new friends as it had got a bit tiresome. In the transfer, Commander Velaul got her promotion to First Officer. The Andorian couldn't think of a better choice. Captain Simmons offered Keval the role of Second Officer which he accepted.

It was a little bit of shock that Captain Simmons departed and as a result they were reassigned again. This time to the Philadelphia under the new Command of Captain Braggins, at least they were staying together like the last move they had. Moving assignments had become a regular occurrence for the Andorian but he did note that some people were having difficulty with the changes. Even, some of the officers in his department. Life wasn’t always easy in Star Fleet.
