Jenny was born a quiet child on Starbase Alpha to a woman who did not want her. She soon found herself sent to live with her father on the USS Philadelphia, and was raised by him and several of his friends until he transferred to the USS Enterprise. On the Enterprise, Jenny's father married her adoptive mother and for a while the three lived happily, and Jenny was soon joined by a little brother.

The family moved to the Ticonderoga, and for a time things were happy, until her parents seperated after an argument Jenny was too young to understand. Jenny went with her adoptive mother and brother first to Risa, then back to the family homeworld of Dhar'hyyk. It was here that she and her family were kidnapped by followers of her late-grandfather and forced into slavery, eventually ending up in a Dilithium Mine. She spent five years in captivity, during which her mother and brother both succumbed to the brutal work, and she organised her escape with the aid of a sympathetic Freighter Captain.Once free, she made her way to Dhar'hyyk where she was informed of her father's death and the dire situation the Galaxy was in. She was raised by several of her father's friends and allies, and on her sixteenth birthday, followed her father's footsteps and joined the Dhar'hyyk Air Force, hampered by the same dislike of mathematics that had almost scuppered her father's graduation.
Jenny was rushed through the Military Academy due to the rising tensions in the sector, and was posted to a reconnaissance unit – officially a non-combatant role. She soon attracted the eyes of Dhar’hyyk Special Intelligence Services, who decided to put her skills to better use. During her tenure with Intelligence; she spent time in Federation, Klingon and Romulan territory; and came to consider herself quite the intrepid explorer while conducting armed reconnaissance and surgical strike missions behind enemy lines.‘’The following is classified Top Secret (Level 7)’’
When After a few months on Dhar’hyyk, Jenny and her family were kidnapped by followers of her late-grandfather and forced into slavery, eventually ending up in a Dilithium Mine. While in captivity, the genetic code of young Jennifer was harvested and sent to Whodat, the rogue Ferengi Daimon whom her father had defeated repeatedly in the past. Whodat used the genetic makeup to a clone who he hoped would infiltrate the family and destroy it from within; the Second General War reached Dhar'hyykultimate revenge. The true family escaped captivity before the clone was fully developed, Jenny found herself on so Whodat’s plan was changed – rather than an eight-year-old clone, he the front lines commanding project was expanded to create what was believed to be a multiplausible and well-purpose unit dubbed ‘The Wolf Pack’developed backstory involving temporal displacement for an adult clone to be introduced. Eighteen failed, but the nineteenth proved successful; faster and stronger than an average human and psycho-indoctrinated with combat skills, languages and a false history. By combining the cloned and augmented genetic sequences with the Hermat gene that promotes accelerated growth, Jenny was among fully to adulthood within a year, but a malfunction caused her to awaken before the forces that pushed indoctrination process was complete. Believing her backstory totally, Jenny escaped the Romulans facility she was created at and Klingons out made her way into Federation Space, where she managed to make contact with the crew of her father’s ship, the systemUSS Ticonderoga.
Shortly after that battle, Jenny was ambushed by Cardassians and her fighter damaged. An instability in the Warp Engines; caused by the damage catapulted her eleven years into the past; where she eventually found her way to her father's Cruiser - the Ticonderoga. With her fighter all but destroyed, there was no way discover how to send her home, so she remained on the ship, surrounded by the younger faces ‘’End of those who had raised her.classified section’’

Jenny served on the Ticonderoga with the ship's Fighter Squadron, before moving on to become Wing Commander when her father's Light Carrier Group idea came to fruition. When the project was cancelled, she transferred with him to his new project; the 666th Tactical Reconnaissance Wing as a Squadron Leader. This assignment did not last long, however, as she wished to get out and see the Galaxy from a more peaceful perspective – a move her father initially disagreed with, but later relented on and assisted her in making a choice. Knowing most of the crew were also displaced, Jenny figured she should join like-minded individuals to explore this new existence with, choosing the USS Avenger as her next posting.

‘’End of classified file’’
Jenny’s first mission aboard the Avenger actually took place aboard the USS James Madison which was dispatched under command of Commander Crawford to the planet Halless 1; to recover a Probe that had mysteriously disappeared. Upon entering orbit around Halless, the James Madison lost all power and plummeted from space. Jenny managed to slow the descent somewhat, but the ship crashed and was all-but destroyed with several fatalities. Despite several ‘hiccoughs’ on the mission, including but not limited to Crawford being taken by a flying creature and a failed train hijacking, Jenny herself destroyed the rogue Probe with a pair of Grenades, and piloted the Avenger out of the system following the crew’s rescue.
While the crew recuperated from the Ryla mission, Jenny discovered that Ethan Harkness had been promoted and that Zephyr had defected to Second Fleet. Feeling betrayed by her best friend and now outranked by a man who had been a Midshipman when she had already been a Marine Captain, Jenny seriously considered resigning her commission. Tyra intervened and suggested Jenny get a change of scenery so she could get some perspective on life, which is where Jenny ran into her ex-best friend on Star Base Bravo. Deeply upset by the developments in her life and feeling a total lack of self-worth, Jenny’s enmity towards Zephyr lessened over the course of a few hours to the point where Jenny misread Zephyr’s body language and the two shared an awkward kiss. Though there was no long-lasting awkwardness between the pair, Jenny still felt confused by what she had done. Returning to the Gettysburg in a state of confusion and worthlessness, Jenny considered refusing the award of the Distinguished Service Globe and resigning her commission, though she was unable to. Her feelings towards Jake had also become more conflicted, as he had lost control during an argument with yet another engineer, and Jenny realised that if she was going to be anchored to someone it would have to be someone with a little more emotional stability than the egotistical engineer.

The Gettysburg’s was later deployed to rescue miners aboard the Mining Station “No Man’s Land”, which proved to be nearly-disastrous for the crew and the miners when it was revealed that the initial ‘rockbird’ problem was simply a symptom of a greater plot to steal trade secrets from the facility by the Orion cartel. Following the mission, Jenny was kidnapped by followers of Daimon Whodat and returned to the facility where she was created, where she was informed that her accelerated aging and early escape came with consequences; the headaches, muscle pains and nausea she had been feeling were the effects of accelerated cellular aging, similar to Werner syndrome. Though the defects were corrected using DNA from a brain-dead but otherwise healthy clone and the extraction of the Hermat aging gene, the damage was done and Jenny was left with the knowledge that she had a built-in but yet-to-be determined expiration date. This prompted a change in attitude and life philosophy to Jenny, who now made it her goal to make the most productive and enjoyable use of the time she had remaining to her.
