| History= ‘’The following is classified Top Secret (Level 7)’’
When the Avenger docked at Starbase Delta, Jenny had tried to visit Tyra in Sickbay, but was quite forcefully turned away by Admiral Grayson himself. With nothing to do to keep herself busy, Jenny decided to throw herself into completing some extra studies to accumulate Academy Credits in an attempt to justify her rank and position to herself. When Tyra was able to receive visitors, Jenny was the first to visit her injured Captain – the two talked about what had happened, which led to Jenny being assigned permanently as the Avenger’s Chief Tactical Officer but also being put through Command Training. During this time, Jenny also went on her first official ‘date’ with Jake, and their relationship went from being something the other crewmembers would speculate about to something quantifiable.
Shortly after her meeting with Tyra, the Avenger was stolen by members of the Avenger’s original crew with the apparent intent to return to their own universe or die in the attempt. Jenny piloted the Voltaire in the retrieval effort, succeeding in disabling the Avenger and destroying a shuttle believed to be carrying the thieves without giving them a chance to surrender. It was as this occurred that the Voltaire was attacked by the USS Gettysburg and Jenny was critically injured. What had started as a simple retrieval mission had become the opening volleys in what could easily turn into a civil war, and Jenny was unaware of the fact as she recovered in the USS Anarchy’s Sickbay. Following her recovery, Jenny was re-assigned to the Gettysburg and the senior staff were sent on a training mission to the forest world of Ryla; what should have been a simple training scenario turned nasty thanks to the intervention of mercenaries believed to be in the employ of First Fleet who wanted to capture Jenny to use as a bargaining chip. Though most of the crew escaped, Jenny carries several emotional scars from the experience, as she had let her fury control her during her ‘interrogation’ of one of the mercenaries she had captured. While the crew recuperated from the Ryla mission, Jenny discovered that Ethan Harkness had been promoted and that Zephyr had defected to Second Fleet. Feeling betrayed by her best friend and now outranked by a man who had been a Midshipman when she had already been a Marine Captain, Jenny seriously considered resigning her commission. Tyra intervened and suggested Jenny get a change of scenery so she could get some perspective on life, which is where Jenny ran into her ex-best friend on Star Base Bravo. Deeply upset by the developments in her life and feeling a total lack of self-worth, Jenny’s enmity towards Zephyr lessened over the course of a few hours to the point where Jenny misread Zephyr’s body language and the two shared an awkward kiss. Though there was no long-lasting awkwardness between the pair, Jenny still felt confused by what she had done. Returning to the Gettysburg in a state of confusion and worthlessness, Jenny considered refusing the award of the Distinguished Service Globe and resigning her commission, though she was unable to. Her feelings towards Jake had also become more conflicted, as he had lost control during an argument with yet another engineer, and Jenny realised that if she was going to be anchored to someone it would have to be someone with a little more emotional stability than the egotistical engineer. | Majors= Starfighter Piloting and Tactics., Starship Helm Operation and Tactics| Minors= Xenolinguistics
