Xindi-Primates are commonly known as the most peaceful of the six known Xindi races.
Like all Xindi, they have distinctive ridges on their cheek bones.
Ape-like, they also have larger foreheads, skin color variations, and no eyebrows.
The Primates are seen as intelligent, honest, and trustworthy by other Xindi.
However, they are not seen as being very resilient when compared to the Xindi-Reptilians.
Language: The Primates, Arboreals, and Reptilians all speak a common language that is recognized by Earth Star Fleet universal translators.
The Insectoids and Aquatics have the ability to understand this language, but it appears they are physically incapable of speaking it.
History
The Primates dominated most of the Xindi homeworld for eons, ruthlessly oppressing the other Xindi species, which they considered inferior.
This caused the other species, especially the Reptilians and Insectoids to harbor a resentment and hatred towards them, which remained well into the 22nd century.
By that time, the Primates had abandoned their beliefs regarding superiority.
The second species to evolve with a high intelligence (preceded by the Aquatics), this species was seen as being the most talented, fair, honest and trustworthy engineers.
In 2153, it was a Xindi-Primate that designed the weapon that attacked Earth.
