Personal History

Cameron was born in New Orleans to Nathan and Grace Pierce. Though the family was from Maine Cameron was born on a vacation. Nathan was an archeologist and Grace a top level executive of a private technology firm run by her father. When he passed away she gained total control of the company. Due to their busy life styles Cameron spent his early years in boarding schools throughout the southern section of the United States, Earth. His mother was convinced it would make him a gentleman.

Cameron spent his summers with his father, seeing his passion for Archeology and decided he would follow in his footsteps. As he progressed through high school his mother retired from being active within the company, spending time with her husband. In his sophomore year an accident on a dig took the life of both of his parents. The company his mother’s side of the family runs founded the Grace Foundation to support archeological explorations in his parent’s name and Cameron’s education.

In the remaining years of High school his life goals changed. Seeing Star Fleet as an interesting challenge, he applied to, and was granted entrance into the Academy. His four years were spent like most other cadets, succeeding above expectations in the Security Division classes and graduating with honors. Cameron earned a minor in Archeology and Xenology. Cameron has continued to return to various academic institutions including Harvard, his father’s alma mater, to further his education towards his doctorate. He was assigned first to the U.S.S Alexandria where he met Nancy Larson, a scientist assigned to the Geology section.

The romance was fast and passionate; they married within a year and had a child soon after, Markus Pierce. Cameron remained on the Alexandria, serving with distinction into the Third Romulan War. It was during one of the major battles of the war that the ship was heavily damaged, inflicting major casualties including Cameron’s son. This caused a great rift in their marriage and while the ship was in dry dock for extended repairs they divorced.
