Personal History

Grew up with her parents on a starship. Her father was a science officer and her mother (who was 1/4 Betazoid) was a nurse. They retired just this year when she was old enough to attend Star Fleet academy. Both had very fulfilling careers.

Growing up she had many friends and boyfriends but few serious relationships. She competed in various speech and drama events and excelled in school. Friends often came to her for advice. She loved meeting new people.

When she was about 13 her father became very ill. She watched him slowly waste away as her mother was to busy copping herself to give any comfort. Luckily a last attempt surgery worked and he was saved. Since then Eliza has had a terrible fear of bad things happening to her family members and loved ones which sometimes causes her to be over obsessed with their safety.

Eliza was heartbroken when she was not accepted into the academy. She made it her goal to be accepted the next year and did everything she could to achieve her goal. Luckily for her it worked. During her time at the academy Eliza met many lifelong friends. She loved the atmosphere and all of her classes. She was able to maintain honor role status for all of her 4 years at the academy. However, although she has enjoyed the experience she is ready to be assigned to a Starship/base and start her career.

Has always wanted to join Starfleet. She decided she wanted to go into Tactical because her aunt who was a very successful in the field told her she had a gift. Also she felt like Tactical Officers were able to be involved with much of the action. Is very excited to join Starfleet and start her own journey. She hopes to make her family proud.
