Personal History
Zozock was born second in line for the position of high priest of the temple of Zock in a remote part of Vulcan. Her sister is first in line. Her father is the current High Priest. She was brought up with a strict regime of spiritual guidance and meditation, physical exercise, and study, trained for her future position. Her child hood was much regimented.
At age 40 she experienced a profound friendship with a visiting Star Fleet officer and when he offered marriage she accepted much to the extreme disapproval of her family. She disregarded their advice and perused the relationship with the Star Fleet officer, renouncing her priestly vows, she left the temple and travelled to earth to join the love of her life only to find that he had been killed in action.
She was stuck on earth with no way to return to Vulcan, and after some years living as recluse on earth she joined Star Fleet. After 10 year of active service on star ships became an Academy Instructor.
