Personal History

Eveh Yhea was born and raised in the city of Veweil on the planet Ysail. The oldest of three children, his father, Aehkhifv, was away serving in the Galae s'Shiar for most of Yhea’s childhood, so he and his father were never as close as he and his mother or grandfather. In the absence of his father, he spent a great deal of his childhood with his maternal grandfather, Vrih. Unlike his father, Vrih had never served in the military and spent his life as a local carpenter and engineer on Ysail.

As a boy, Yhea liked to navigate the numerous caverns on his home planet and explore the various natural wonders his world offered. At an early age, it seemed that he had a natural mechanical ability. It was in his grandfather's workshop that young Yhea learned, developed and honed his engineering skills. Vrih, had recognized immediately these talents and skills and helped the young boy realize his true passion. Yhea's brother and sister were 13 and 18 years younger than he so they never were close. However, over the last few years, he has managed to become closer to them.

Due to his father’s military connections, Yhea was appointed to the Imperial Academy. However, after one year he decided to leave the Academy and join the enlisted ranks so he could fight in the Dominion War. For the past 37 years, he has served aboard just about every type of military vessel and fought in every war waged by the Romulan Star Empire. Now, older and much wiser he has lost his youthful desire for war and glory; His focus now is preserving a future for his family and future generations.

Due to skill, valor and good fortune, Yhea has risen to the rank of Enuhlan, the highest enlisted rank one can reach. Inwardly, he still carries the emotional scars that war so often brings. The day that his best friend Almak died in his arms during a battle of the First General War, a part of Yhea died as well.

On shore leave a few years after he entered the Galae s'Shiar, he married his wife, T'Maekh and after several years of trying, finally had three daughters. Although he doesn't get to spend much time with his family, unlike his father, he makes every effort to spend time with them when he can.

During the last Romulan/Federation War, Yhea had been assigned as Hru'Allhka for the RIS Shadowhawk. After the war he continued to serve on the Shadowhawk until battling Enriov Tei's ship. Even though they defeated Tei and his ship in battle, the Shadowhawk was severely damaged and needed several months worth of repairs. Due to the upcoming blastwave crisis, Yhea was allowed to take extended shore leave and assist in moving his family from Romulus to their new home on Eilhaunn in the Ahadi system. After getting his family situated, Yhea was recalled to a new ship, a Scout Class, the RIS Black Dawn.
