Xindus was an inhabited planet (now destroyed), located in the Delphic Expanse. Homeworld to the Xindi, it was the only planet in its solar system.
Geologically unstable, this planet was destroyed by its own people in 2033. During the Xindi Civil War, both the Reptilians and Insectoids detonated large weapons beneath seismic fissures.
All but one Xindi species escaped their planet's destruction, the Avian-esque species.
- The five surviving species spread out across the Delphic Expanse, each settling on various planets.
In 2153, the Enterprise discovered an asteroid field roughly 80 million kilometers (~50 million miles) long, in orbit of a yellow-orange star; This was what remained of Xindus.
