Xenophobia

Xenophobia is the fear or hatred of others not like yourself. This outlook can spread to a government, such as North Korea, or a whole people, such as the Tholians.

A "phobia" is a named anxiety disorder, characterized with a general sense of dread of, or aversion towards, a specific thing or person.

Some xenophobic-based movements have included:

• Terra Prime, which was dedicated to the expulsion all of non-Humans from Earth and the Sol system.
• Vulcan Isolationist Movement, a 24th century faction who believed contact with alien worlds was polluting their culture and destroying Vulcan purity.
• Bajoran Alliance for Global Unity, an organization that emerged after the Cardassian withdrawal from the Occupation of Bajor in 2369.
