Mission Summary
When the Artemis is disabled by a mine, they seek repairs at a small but well-equipped outpost in orbit of a local gas giant in a binary star system. Initially seeming abandoned, it becomes apparent that the outpost is frequented by Kazon who demand tribute in terms of supplies and repairs following their raids on other species.
With the Artemis unable to travel far or fight with her damage, a small team is dispatched from the ship to defend the outpost against the raiders. After the Artemis withdraws, a blood bath ensues, causing casualties on both sides. In the end, the Kazon agree to a withdrawal. Repairs to the ship and the station commence shortly thereafter, but the victory is bittersweet.
