Personal History

Being born in a Romulan prison camp, Tregok spent the first 6 years of his life growing up unaware of his true bloodlines. He was brought up by his mother in the camp and never knew his father. He looked to the older boys, the adult male prisoners and even the Romulan prison guards for a father figure, not realising his father was actually one of the Romulan guards.

Apart from his pointy ears, he still looked and sounded like a full blood Klingon. Not long after turning 6, Tregok left the prison, forsaking his mother. Upon leaving, he was told to hide his ears, which he didn’t understand at the time. He managed to smuggle himself onto a transport to Kronos, and spent a year there trying to find a living relative. It wasn’t until he was almost 8 years old, that he managed to find his mother’s father, Klatak of house Ruktar, son of Krenn. Klatak realised instantly that Tregok wasn’t a normal Klingon child, and explained to him that he must never speak of it to anyone. His grandfather explained to him that it would dishonor the house to have a half-blood in the family, and had Tregok’s ears surgically altered to appear like a normal Klingon.

Tregok spent the next 10 years growing up and studying on Kronos. It was here he learnt to fight, but Klatak forbade him to fight with the other boys because he was worried they might discover Tregok’s secret. Disregarding his grandfathers warnings, Tregok found himself face to face with with a Klingon with an impeccable fighting skills, called Kintah. Before he knew it, Kintah was swinging a Bat’leth right at Tregok’s head. With little to no time, Tregok tried to dodge the attack but the Bat’leth sliced Tregok’s face, cutting him right below his left eye. The second he realised what happened, he quickly covered his cut and ran away in an attempt to hide the colour of his blood. Once his grandfather discovered what happen, he forbid Tregok from having the scar removed, as to remind him who and what he truly is. Having little to no options left to him, Tregok decided a path of medicine would help him to hide his true heritage, and in time if given the chance, discover who his father is. Tregok studied to become a medical officer on Kronos, despite the low ranking they have in Klingon society.

At the age of 40, Tregok decided to leave Kronos and travel the galaxy. He spent years moving from place to place, experiencing what different cultures had to offer, and he became somewhat of a drifter. While visiting Star Base 11, Tregok met a group of Star Fleet Officers. One of the officers was the most beautiful creature he had ever seen, a human by the name of June. Before he knew it, he was in love. June’s beauty was so different to what he was used to, and without realising he was madly in love. It was here that this love developed and flourished, and he was inspired to do more with his life. The time he spent with June, Tregok thought he had found the one, and the love was mutual. This relationship went on for 6 months, and without warning, June and the other officers had to leave in a hurry. Before leaving, June and Tregok said their farewells, and she told him if he ever wished to join Star Fleet, that herself, of any of his new friends he had met would vouch for him.

It didn’t take Tregok long to decided to join Star Fleet. He tried to get in contact with June, but to no avail. He did manage to contact several of the other officers he had met on Star Base 11, and they all offered to vouch for him. Having not been able to contact June, Tregok believed he’d find answers within Star Fleet as to her whereabouts.

Personality Profile

Academy Major(s): Academy Majors: Medical (he felt it wise to learn Star Fleets medical practices even though he was already trained in Klingon Medical practices)
Academy Minor(s): Hand to hand combat.
Hobbies and Pastimes: Tregok has been trying to learn the trumpet (an earth instrument). He tries his best, but just seems to sound terrible. He has also taken it upon himself to master the art of scone baking.
Short-Term Goals: Become a better trumpet player. Eat more scones.
Long-Term Goals: Master playing the trumpet. Tregok doesn’t know why he wants to play it so badly, it just seems to be such a challenge for him.
Personality: Tregok is an odd shell to crack. On first impressions, he appears to be a strong, young and energetic Klingon doing his best to prove himself. The more you get to know him, you realise he is very wise and experienced. Thanks to his genetics, his age is easily concealed, and can easily be mistaken for a younger Klingon. When people first meet him, they are usually overwhelmed by his size, and the volume at which he tends to speak. Most people would see him as another blood thirsty, honor driven Klingon. This is mostly true, but those who manage to get close to him, soon come to realise he is a gentle soul. Get on Tregok’s wrong side however, and the Klingon within takes over.
Sense of Humor: Tregok’s sense of humour might seem weird and off to everyone else. He laughs at his own jokes before anyone else does, and tends to take things too far.
Phobias: None, Tregok is strong minded and strong willed. He isn’t scared of anything, except possibly the death of his pet goldfish, Kahless.
Likes: Tregok likes to practice martial arts of many different cultures. It keeps his mind and body balanced. He also likes playing the trumpet and eating his home baked scones.
Dislikes: Tregok doesn’t like to be kept waiting. He also doesn’t like coffee, the smell of coffee confuses him, because it smells so wonderful, but tastes so terrible. Never offer him a coffee or stale scones.
Pet Peeves or Gripes: Tregok hates it when people don’t clean up after themselves. He has been known to bark at someone for leaving a dirty plate behind instead of placing them in the matter reclamation units.
Bad Habits or Vices: Tregok likes to pick at his ears. This is probably caused by the surgery he had. He also picks the wax out of his ears and flicks it.
Achievements: Tregok sees his greatest achievement to date being accepted, although only partially, into his grandfathers house. Although not something you achieve by doing well on a test, to Tregok this is something he is most proud of.
Disappointments: Tregok was most disappointed about never meeting his real father. Unsure if he is still alive or not, Tregok would still like to meet him, if he still lives.
Illnesses: Tregok has not suffered any serious illness.
Strengths: Tregok is exceptionally fit for his age, and excels at hand to hand combat, weapons combat, especially Bat'leth. He is also an exceptional dart player, even though it is sometimes impossible to remove the darts from the board.
Weaknesses: Tregok only shows weakness for his first love June, that he met on Star Base 11. If asked about his mother, Tregok sometimes has moments of weakness, but it has been many years since he saw her, and finds it hard to remember her.
Fears: As a Klingon, Tregok fears bringing shame and dishonor to his family and house.
Prejudices: Tregok displays dislike for Romulans, but this may just be a ploy.
Off Duty Clothing Tastes: Black trousers, running shoes, muscle shirt, baseball cap.
Distinguishing Features: Scar under left eye, bullet sized scar on left arm.
Pets: Tregok owns one single goldfish, his name is Kahless.
Friends: Best Friend: Kahless the goldfish and Feta the Ferengi.

Personal Paradigm Shifts

Most Painful Experience: Leaving his mother at the age of 6 and having to find his own way in the galaxy. He sometimes awakens in the middle of the night fearing for her life.
Best Time: Spending 6 months with the most beautiful woman Tregok had ever met.
Most Crucial Experience: Seeing what a difference the Star Fleet can make in the galaxy: The time Tregok spent with June opened his mind to what he could accomplish in Star Fleet. Although initially he’d only be joining as a medical officer, he still believes he can make a difference.
Role Model: Tregok didn’t have a true father figure growing up, and it wasn’t until he met his Grandfather Klatak that he had someone to look up to.
