The Patriarchy

The Patriarchy is an interstellar state in the Alpha Quadrant, and the ruling governmental body of the Kzinti people.

Their leader is referred to as the "Highest of Kzin."

At some point before 2269, the Kzinti government signed the "Treaty of Sirius", which forbade them all weapons beyond police vessels, as well as related equipment.

• Many Kzinti continued to seek out weapons, regardless of their illegality.

A star chart of its territory in treaty boundary quadrant 0 showed it encompassing such systems as Achernar, Aldebaran, Alpha Carinae (Canopus), Antos, Cochrane, Gamma Hydra, Medusa, Menkar, and Questar M-17, as well as the site of the Kalandan outpost.
