Personal History
Theodore was born in Tycho City, Luna twenty three years ago. His mother was a hardworking Civil Servant with a love of Botany; his father disappeared from Luna about two months after Andrea became pregnant. Growing up was complicated for Theo, he found it hard to fit into school with his Asperger’s Syndrome, and it took him until the age of seven to fully integrate with his peers and catch up with his school work.
It was at school that he experienced his most painful experience. Theo had made friends with a boy called Lewis, and for several months things went without any issue. However, Theo was still viewed as a bit of an outsider, and Lewis’ association with Theo led to a fair amount of ridicule and bullying. One afternoon, Lewis and Theo were set upon by a group of bullies, and although Theo wasn’t too badly hurt, while held down, he witnessed his friend Lewis get beaten quite viciously for his age, not being able to save him. Afterwards, Lewis never spoke to Theo again, and Theo spent the remainder of his early school days alone. After that day, Theo swore that he’d learn to better himself and not let anyone else he knew come to harm or be bullied.
It was a couple of months afterwards that Theo witnessed an off-duty Star Fleet Officer save an elderly woman from a street thug. Impressed and at the impressionable age of eight, Theo decided that once he left College that he would join Star Fleet. This desire stuck with Theo even into his teens, where he had a much better time. At a college where no-one knew him, Theo’s above average looks, sportiness and gentle nature garnered him a decent group of friends and a little popularity, and for the next few years Theo had many crucial and enjoyable life experiences, including one drunken incident that left him with a tattoo. His mother wasn’t impressed.
Regardless of some of the irresponsible behavior Theo found himself committing, he still did well at school, often engaging in co-curricular activities and engaging in competitions. After leaving College Theo applied to Star Fleet Academy in San Francisco, and after failing to get in on the first attempt, he tried again and gained entrance at the age of nineteen. Initially Theo didn’t know anyone, but after a couple of months he met his soon to be best friend Joshua Bates. Even though Joshua was a year ahead of Theo, he was impressed by Theo’s maturity and enjoyed spending time with him, as well as having a lot in common. Over the next three years they shared many valuable and enjoyable experiences, culminating with Joshua’s graduation from the academy. Still with a year to go Theo wished Joshua the best, and the two friends continued to contact one another, even to this very day.
Almost completing his fourth year, Theo is now finishing up his studies and preparing for the final exam

Personality: Outgoing and playful. Theodore does have a serious and focused side, but this only comes out when it needs to
Sense of Humor: Dry and black humour always get a laugh out of Theodore, although the usual joke or anything slapstick will likely amuse
Phobias: Theodore cannot stand heights or tentacle creatures like octopuses or jellyfish
Likes: Adventure, solving problems, winning (Although isn’t too much of a sore loser), women and forming strong friendships

Achievements: Two time winner of a High School Writing competition, reaching a Black Belt in Tai Kwan Do, turning his PADD into a portable gaming system
Disappointments: Never meeting his father, not being able to create a genuine relationship with a woman, failing a Calculus exam that very nearly set him back, being Autistic
Illnesses: While not an illness, Theodore was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome at an early age. While advances in science and therapy have rendered this fact almost obsolete, Theodore can sometimes be oblivious to certain things
Strengths: Hand to hand combat, writing, Computer Programming, marksmanship, leadership (Although he rarely acknowledges this)
Weaknesses: Calculus, not being able to keep up in a conversation between more than four people, Botany
Fears: Darkness (Can stand turning the lights off to sleep, but if the ship suddenly blacks out Theodore will freak for a moment and not be very receptive to any physical contact, especially any he can’t see), people finding out about his disability and judging him, failing (No matter how big or how small)
Prejudices: Past experience has molded Theodore to believe that women are compulsive liars and ultimately out for only themselves. While not outright sexist, he’ll find it very hard to form anything more than a casual friendship with a woman (Although he still desires a relationship). Also can’t stand bullies or people that abuse the power they’re given

Friends: Joshua Bates, currently on assignment. Met during their time in the academy, Josh was a year ahead of Theodore at the time. Bonding through a love of sports and space exploration, their friendship held strong for three years. Still keep in contact when possible

Most Painful Experience: Watching one of his childhood friends get viciously beaten by bullies and not being able to help him
Best Time: Theodore has had plenty of good experiences over the years, but his times with Joshua or his college years are what he considers to be the best times of his life

Role Model: His mother, a strong willed woman who was always there for him and never got angry at his failures, although she was easily disappointed, which led to Theodore’s desire to prove himself at all times
