Personal History
Traci was born in Cheyenne, Wymong to two Star Fleet security officers. She had a relatively normal life before she left for Star Fleet Academy at age 18. She still hadn’t decided what department she wanted to train for until her sophomore year. Traci saw some upperclassmen cadets picking on a younger underclassman before she intervened and ended up sending one of them to the infirmary. She almost got expelled from the Academy, but when she wasn’t, she decided to work for Security so she could help other people.
After graduating from Star Fleet Academy, she was promoted to the rank of Ensign and assigned to the USS Gettysburg. A few years later, she was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade and transferred to the USS Drake as the Armory Officer. She only served on the Drake for one mission before she transferred to the USS Copernicus.
Traci formed a mentor-student relationship with her Chief of Security on the Copernicus, Commander Avark. She always considered him one of her closest friends on the Copernicus. After Commander Avark was assigned as the Copernicus’ First Officer, she began to form the same professional relationship with the new COS, Lieutenant Commander Wylie.
Besides her duties as Armory Officer, Lieutenant Talazac also served as a baby-sitter for Avark and his daughter Kasia during his free time. After Commander Avark married Commander Ariana Lacey, however, her time as babysitter was cut dramatically.
During one mission, she became romantically involved with a holographic program of Commander Avark when the two were sent 800 years into Earth’s past. When they returned to the present, the holographic program of Avark “died” in her arms. It was so unbearable to watch the “real” Avark with Commander Lacey everyday that she attempted to take her own life. She was summarily suspended from active duty and forced to undergo counseling.
During her suspension and shoreleave on Starbase Alpha, she was sexually assaulted by an unknown subject on Stardate 20601.02. The perpetrator was never caught and the case remains open. Shortly thereafter, she was pronounced fit to return to duty. She then transferred to the Criminal Investigations Division of Star Fleet Security.

Hobbies and Pastimes: Traci enjoys physical training and martial arts. Her friend, Joseph Daher, from the Gettysburg taught her martial arts. Now she uses those skills, to train other security officers in Close Quarters Combat (CQC). She even trains civilians like Kasia
Personality: Traci has a very complicated personality. Before her attack, she was an otherwise genial person, but was known throughout the ship for being determined and very career-oriented. After the attack, she has become almost a total recluse. Her closest friends claim that she has been avoiding them as well

Likes: Traci likes Star Fleet. According to her Star Fleet Psychological Profile, it is one of the few things that she truly enjoys
Dislikes: Thugs and bullies
Bad Habits or Vices: She has a habit of bottling her emotions up inside of her. This led directly to her breakdown and attempted suicide
Disappointments: Even though she knows she shouldn’t, she often blames herself for not being able to stop the attack
Illnesses: As a result injuries sustained in the aforementioned attack on Stardate 20601.02, she was in a severe coma for two weeks
