Personal History

Grew up having a wonderful childhood, and had a great relationship with her parents. The last thing they ever gave her, was a violin. She was seventeen when her parents took a trip, mostly for research purposes and never made it to their destination. While they were away Arwen was placed in a boarding school, it was meant to be short term but it lasted much longer.

During the last year there, her class took a ski trip. It was there that Arwen had a bit of an accident, and sustained frost bite in her ears. It took some minor surgery to prevent the spread of necrosis, her ears were deformed as a result but altered to come to points much like Vulcans.

Her academic studies study started, she took a lot of interest in a variety of subjects. Ultimately it would lead to her doctorate, specializing in surgery. At first her teachers didn’t think she was taking studies seriously, as no one seen Arwen do it. Playing the violin, and Martial Arts took up most of her time. It was during her trips to the doctors office, she took a interest in medical science. Starting off with studies in biology and anatomy, this branched off into other areas of study.

At first she was underestimated, mostly because she didn’t have much for people skills. Those skills came later after meeting Cujun, who taught her more about balance. She could figure out every equation, but the people one. From boarding school to medical school, academically everything was great. It was the Martial Arts and the side studies that made all the difference, the refinement of proper focus. It also gave her a better view point of people, and a deeper respect.

In the later years when she was in her senior year, Arwen was given twelve impossible questions. Originally she set them aside, and it wasn’t until the morning they were due that it seen the light of day again until the day it was due. Completing nine of the twelve of the questions, she turned it in much to the surprise of the professors. Of all of the questionnaires handed out, only fourteen were expected to be handed in hers made fifteen. The series of twelve questions were like the ones made in University of Oxford, but adapted for their purpose. It was estimated that the average student could answer two questions, and s gifted student could answer five.

Being able to basically visualize the questions, it gave her the unique ability to see the answers formulate in her mind as if they were being projected onto a screen. It was a gift that she was born with, and sometimes it made her appear to be antisocial.

There was a field trip that was originally scheduled for the fourteen to see the Commission, it was to size up potential candidates to be joined. Arwen was the only one who didn’t have much if any interest in being joined. She was however talked into taking the entrance exam, this was what peaked her interest and ultimately got her into the training. It took a lot of mental discipline, and an almost extreme focus to make it through.

As time passed on, and candidates started to be weeded out. Arwen never really unpacked anything, unless she needed it for that day. It was during the last phase of her training, that it was determined she was going to be joined with Tahn.

It was surprising to anyone, as Tahn didn’t want to be joined with anyone for a long time. The joining process turned a little complicated, and almost took a turn for the worst. It was with some great effort that the process was complete, and the joining was done.

The sleep that followed was highly unusual, four days later when she finally woke up and went to the near by window. It wasn’t really clear if it was the hundred years of rest, or that first breathe of air that suddenly made everything a lot more interesting. The world of music has gotten more entertaining, especially with the violin.

The very state of confusion that she was going through, lasted a little longer than normal. The memories of all four previous hosts made things a little harder, more so when most of the time all of them were swarming at once. It was several weeks later when most of the memories were sorted out, and she was able to resume as normal.

Her first year of the academy was usually the hardest for most students, but this was all normal to her. It was a great time for her, and Cujun was there for her a lot. Her studies took her into places she never thought possible, including into a shuttle. She was able to learn how to fly, but her main focus was still in medicine.

Her second and third year, further refined her studies and picked up a specialty. Through it all she also picked up her music more, it was annoying the other students until she started to take it outside. This also led to her minors in music, it helped her a lot with her timing and timing is everything in medicine especially surgery.

Her senior year in the Academy had to be by far the most eventful, juggling a balance of fun and responsibilities. Even being featured in an concert that was held in the academy, she was originally slated to be in the background but the headliner took ill at the last possible second. The show definitely had to go on, and her only instructions to the crew was to follow her lead and go with what felt natural. The show was highly physical, and the how everything came together seemed like it was all planned.

Even when her violin broke somehow, a new one was tossed to her. Where she caught it by the neck with her right hand, and continued to play like nothing ever happened. It was during this time that all of her instructors fully understood how invested Arwen gets in everything, and it was a complete commitment.

Now ready for graduation, Arwen was ready for anything that came her way. Life on a Star Ship, or anything that she might be sent too Arwen will thrive. The only question is, would they be ready for her?
