Personal History
Born on Betazed, Sabina was the only child of the great holofilm actor Maltani Suder and his second wife, Sirel, a former fashion model. She grew up among celebrities and traveled extensively at a young age. Sabina though never felt the urge to follow in her parent's footsteps. Instead she discovered she had a great love of exploring other cultures and an interest in how different societies governed themselves. Her parents didn't quite understand why she chose to apply to Star Fleet Academy rather than pursue a career in entertainment, but they accepted it, and she left home with their blessings.
Sabina followed a dual path in the Academy, focusing on both command division training and intelligence work. She graduated with high honors and was first assigned as an administrative assistant to the command training program at Star Fleet Headquarters. It was there she first met Adaran 225, though the two remained only acquaintances at that time.
After promotion to ensign, Sabina was assigned as a Captain's Yeoman on the USS Jackson for a year before being reassigned into intelligence as part of a special investigation. Her intelligence training in the Academy and her work as a yeoman made her the perfect choice to investigate an alleged smuggling operation run by Star Fleet personnel. Assigned as the yeoman of the captain suspected as being the leader, she spent two years gathering enough information to help shut down the entire operation.
During the Borg invasion, Sabina continued working for intelligence, often traveling into Borg controlled territory on reconnaissance missions, where her skills as a telepath were put to use. Once the Borg had been defeated, she returned to more conventional duties as assistant to the security chief for Sector 002. When the Third Romulan-Federation War broke out, she was reassigned to the USS Quasar, which spent much time in the front lines, working for then Captain Jhalan zh'Matis. The two women, both telepaths, found they had a strong working relationship together, and as zh'Matis moved up the ladder to Fleet Commander, she kept Sabina with her.
While working as Vice Admiral zh'Matis' assistant on Star Base Bravo, she once again ran into Adaran 225. The two remembered each other, and while Adaran was recovering from hir injuries as a result of battle during the last Romulan War, Sabina kept up encouragement for hir to regain the full use of hir lower body. They quickly bonded, and though their relationship drifted over the line towards romance, they've always pulled themselves back from any serious commitment, knowing that things work better between them without the baggage of a conventional relationship.
