Strategic Operations Officer

Somewhere between Chief Tactical Officer and Chief of Security, this position's primary duty was to coordinate all Starfleet activity within the sector.
Other responsibilities included overseeing the small arms recalibrations, acting as an Intelligence Officer, acting as a Fleet Liaison Officer, and working with Constable Odo, who acted as the space station's Chief of Security.
This position reported directly to the commanding officer of Deep Space 9.
