Personal History

Born and raised on Janus VI, Rafe always felt out of place. Most people never leave the colony. They move into the jobs of their parents and continue on. Rafe did pick up his engineering skills from his family, but he felt held back and out of place. He was somewhat of a prodigy compared to the other colonist. He desired more out of life than what the simple colony could provide.

Rafe had a conflicted relationship with his younger brother Mica. Mica was lazy and had gotten in with the Ferengi. He was into drugs and other unlawful practices. Mica’s problems grew after Rafe left Janus VI. They fought continuously about their differences and Mica’s problems. They were like night and day.

At 17 Rafe decided to leave Janus VI much to his parent’s dismay. They wanted their skilled son to carry on the family name at the colony. He left in search of adventure and a place to further his craft. He had always wanted to go to the academy since he was a small boy
