Star Base 129 is a Federation installation within the Milky Way’s Alpha Quadrant. It is the 129th in a series of star bases now managed by Star Fleet. The star base is approximately 83.9 light years from Sol (Earth).
It is regularly used as a repair facility for Star Fleet and Federation vessels. Star Base 129 also services nearby Federation installations like the Argus Array (External Link).
Historical significance
Stardate 21112.10, Star Fleet transferred management of Star Base 129 from within the jurisdiction of the Federation’s 3rd Fleet to within the jurisdiction of its 1st.
