Species 10026 was the designation for a species that was assimilated by the Borg in 2375. Their civilization had one planet and advanced spacecraft, armed with pulse weapons that could penetrate Borg shielding. The Borg however, were quick to adapt, leaving the species defenseless against them.
Witnessed by former Borg drone Seven of Nine, the entire species was assimilated by drones from two Borg Cubes. With Seven's help, one ship with four individuals escaped the devastation, but was noticed by the Borg Queen. It was caught in a tractor beam, but was eventually released after Seven pleaded with the Queen.
