Personal History
Sindari Khnialmnae is the cover name used by Dhiov Llhweiir while assigned as an observer on the USS James Madison at the request of Vice Admiral Derrick Grant.
Sindari's cover story is that she was born to a prostitute on Nevas IV in the Romulan Neutral Zone and orphaned at age 9 when her mother was killed during an argument with a client. Having no close relatives, as her mother's clan had disowned them, and being afraid that she'd end up being taken into slavery, Sindari stowed away on a freighter which happened to be of Federation origin. After being discovered by the ship's crew, she was turned over to Federation authorities and placed in a variety of foster homes but never adopted. She did well in school, though, excelling in math and science, and she showed an aptitude for engineering. She enlisted in Star Fleet to help her find a place in life and to allow her to gain experience as an engineer. Her first assignment was on the USS Minotaur, where she worked for a year before being transferred to the James Madison.
