Shuttlepod
A shuttlepod is a smaller type of shuttlecraft, usually only capable of impulse propulsion or low-warp speed capacity.
Shuttlepods were able to seat a pilot and six passengers, although conditions aboard the vehicles would be cramped.
The pilot's chair was able to swivel, whereas the two chairs behind the pilot, and at the rear of the craft, did not move in this fashion. There were also two benches inside the shuttlepod, which could double as bunks when necessary. These benches had lift-up seats for storage compartments that were underneath. Each shuttlepod had a hatch on the roof of the vehicle, and entrances at either side, as well as a large entrance at the back.
Oxygen recyclers were standard equipment aboard shuttlepods. They were not equipped with toilet facilities, or Universal translators. They were equipped with a store of rations and a tiny built-in stove with which to heat them.
