Personal History

Kema was born to two very talented people, her mother a skilled Archaeologist and her father a wealthy artifact dealer. Her mother came from a long line of nobles that moved to Egypt a long time ago. The British line stayed pure, until Kema's mother met Akil when he came to look over some artifacts she had discovered. They were't married long when they conceived Kema, and decided that she would be their only child. They wanted to lavish her with all the finest things, focusing all their energy on raising her in the best life.

Kema took after her mother the most, coming along for digs and finding interest in almost everything they discovered. She did tag along with her father enough to get a taste of business, which later led to her decision to mix both loves into a Starfleet career. At the age of 18 she went away, leaving the wealth and comfort of home behind. But she knew she was making the right decision, and making her family proud.

Her first assignment was a small ship, the USS Targon, but she was more than happy to join the crew. Her mind was always on the job, even during special events she could be found in the labs. Other girls were interested in romance, but not Kema, she was always worried about doing better at her job. As a result she never had a boyfriend, not that she wasn't asked, her beauty and wealth drew attention every where she went.

When she was transferred to the USS Avenger she felt nervous to start over on a new ship, but excited that she had excelled enough to be promoted to Chief Science Officer.
