The Retellians are a humanoid race native to the Beta Quadrant.
They generally have tan-caucasian skin, and style their short hair into several small ponytails in the back of their head. Their facial structure has several ridged sections, and their chin comes to a decreased point. Their nostrils are minutely extended outward on the top of their lips.
It is possible that Retellians have a more protective skull than average, as when Commander Tucker was punching Goff, he just laughed at him.
Technologically, it is possible the Retellians (as of 2152) were a little behind Humans, as their ships were only capable of warp 2.2, whereas Star Fleet had reached warp 5.
In some date previous to September of 2152, a Retellian freighter attacked a Kriosian transport, and kidnapped Kaitaama, a member of the royal family.
