Personal History
Elizabeth was born a little under two years after her parents marriage. Growing up in a medium sized town in Kentucky, where everyone knew everyone and you could hardly get away with anything without it spreading throughout the whole town. Her family wasn't particularly wealthy, but they got by comfortably.
When she was five, she got to go to work with her father for a few hours and quickly declared she wanted to grow up to become an officer just like him. A year later when she was six, she was sent to live with her grandmother for a year while her parents worked out some issues. This confused her greatly, making her believe she had done something wrong even after being told it wasn't her fault. This time allowed her to grow very close to her grandmother however, who taught her to be the kind, caring person she is today.
When she finally returned home, her parents shared the news that she was to become a big sister. This excited her greatly and she quickly went to work on planning out all the fun things she would do with her when she finally came. She and her sister grew close, always getting themselves into trouble and always having each others back. Her best friend, Quentin, was also a big part of her life. Being the child of her parents friends, they spent a lot of time together growing up and became very close as well.
During high school, Elizabeth participated in many sports, basketball being her favorite. She was at the top of her class, and worked very hard to stay there. She became close to a small group of friends during this time, along with Quentin, and almost got arrested one time for sticking up for someone who was getting bullied. She soon developed a reputation as someone not to be messed with, who would stick up for others, even if she didn't fully know them.
Her senior year of high school, a Starfleet Officer came to speak to her class about their future careers, having been from Kentucky himself. It was that day she had changed her mind about following her father and joining Starfleet. The news of this hurt her father, having never gotten a son, he had looked to her to somewhat fill that void. Roughly a year later he came around and admitted he was proud of her and would support her fully. Around this time, Quentin had announced he planned to continue his medical studies off planet, and the two found it hard to say their goodbyes the day he left.
The day before she left for the Academy, she got a tattoo on her right wrist that stood for family, something that she held dear and close to her heart. When she finally left it was hard, but the Academy soon filled her time and became one of the most exciting experiences of her life.

Personality: She has a very kind, caring personality. She will drop everything to help another and give them the shirt off her back if necessary, but if crossed she will never trust that person again. She is very confident, steadfast, strong willed and not afraid to mess up and learn from her mistakes.
Sense of Humor: She is open too all kinds of humour, loving to have a good laugh. She's very sarcastic and quick-witted, known for getting her into trouble at times.
Phobias: Spiders, or anything that even remotely looks like a spider.
Likes: Thunderstorms, good food and drink, music, and playing a good competitive sport.
Dislikes: People who think they are better than others based on how they grew up, being treated as if she is stupid or a low-life. Mashed potatoes, spiders and heat. She rather spend her time in a cold winter than a hot summer.
Pet Peeves or Gripes: Someone who chews with their mouth open, people who talk about themselves all the time, bullies and homework.
Bad Habits or Vices: Her sarcastic mouth and confidence tends to get her into trouble. Bites her nails, and talks a lot when she gets nervous.
Achievements: Helping her high school basketball team win nationals, entering and winning a writing contest when she was fifteen on how her little sister got on her nerves, graduating the Academy.
Disappointments: Missing the winning shot in an important game in high school, accidentally letting her best friend down when he had needed her the most. Telling her father that she didn't want to follow in his foot steps, but become an officer in Starfleet.

Strengths: Her confidence to secede in anything she puts her mind too. Her ability to quickly solve problems (Math, conflict, puzzles).
Weaknesses: Her over confidence, though one of her strengths can be a great weakness as well. Sometimes jumping into things without thinking it through and her inability to cook even though she has been shown how on many occasions.
Fears: Doesn't like the thought of being trapped, whether in a room, relationship or any other circumstance. Losing the people she loves and cares for.
Prejudices: None, she believes that everyone should have a chance and not be judged because of race. Even though she doesn't like aliens that wish harm to the Federation, she would never dislike them because of race, only their actions.
Off Duty Clothing Tastes: T-shirt and blue jeans, doesn't like to dress up unless needed.
Distinguishing Features: Pouty lips and a small tattoo on her right wrist that stands for family.
Pets: A Rottweiler named Whiskey Alexander, waiting at home with her parents.
Friends: Quentin Gunning - Born only a few days before Elizabeth, Quentin has been there for her for as long as she can remember. With their parents being close friends, they grew up together from the time they were born until Elizabeth left for the Academy and Quentin left to study on another planet. They try and keep in contact as often as they can. During the Academy, Elizabeth become close friends with Veronika Anilova. They had a great time together, playing many lighthearted pranks and getting themselves in to trouble on many occasions.
Personal Paradigm Shifts
Most Painful Experience: Losing her grandmother, she was very very close to her. She took care of Elizabeth when her parents were having a rough time. She was also there when her grandmother finally passed away. Also when she fell from a tree and broke her leg in three places, but was lucky to have her mother near by.
Best Time: The vacation her family took to Florida to visit the beach when she was eighteen. They had brought along her friend Quentin as well, and they spent most of their time either on the beach learning to surf, going to the many attractions, or getting lost for hours trying to remember where the hotel was. She remembers it as the time her family became as close as they possibly could, and realized just how much family meant to her.
Most Crucial Experience: The day she decided to not follow in her fathers foot steps, but to attend Starfleet Academy and travel through space.
Role Model: Her father and his passion to become the best he could for his family.
