Personal History

Powl comes from a large family and prefers large groups of people in a spread out environment. Ironically he chose Star Fleet as a career. However, due to the fact that he is of the many descendants of those that made First Contact, he felt it an obligation to ensure that there was someone in the family who still be making strides and first achievements with the new race. He is currently seeking a mate.

Powl also has sought Kholinar and achieved it. One of Torock primary attributes is his displine which is seen not only in his mental abilities and routine, but in the way he conducts every fascet of his life. He believes that displine are the first steps to mastering logic, logic is the first step to wisdom, and with both emotion is purged.

Pon Farr for Torock is difficult as he has no mate, he uses meditation to deal with this overpowering sensation. He feels this is his deepest emotions trying to break free to destroy his mental barrier. He has hypothesized that Vulcans were not always subject to Pon Farr, rather it came about during the era of war and destruction on Vulcan.

Torock Powl is emotionless, though he does have preferences where food is concerned. Though it may not appear that he enjoys the food, his approach is much more scientific. Instead of simply enjoying the taste, he analyzes each part to find out why it tastes certain ways. Normally he can identify ingredients simply by apearance and/or taste.

Though in very good physical condition, his right shoulder consistently pains him. Doctors cannot diagnose the problem, however it does not prevent him from serving in Star Fleet adequately.

Torock enjoys listening to music due to the fact that it seems to have such an emotional effect on humans. Powl is fascinated by the workings of the mind because of his beliefs and his discipline.

He has a good memory, in order to memorize something simply needs to do is sit and read the material.

Ironically, Torock is fascinated by emotions since it is such a huge part of his race's past yet he has done nothing all his life but seek how to further purge his mind of it.

Since Torock's initial service with StarFleet, he is now returning having been missing for approximately 12 years. Reintegration therapy has been successful, however there are many scars remaining. He endeavors to put himself to good use again within Star Fleet\
