Personal History
Pevok was born in the city of T’Paal on Vulcan in 2341. Much of his early life was spent in study. From Vulcan discipline to the Suus Mahna (martial arts), he received very intense training. Although his parents wanted him to join the Vulcan Science Directorate, Pevok entered Star Fleet Academy instead.
He graduated from the Academy four years later at the young age of 28. In 2369, he was assigned to the newly commissioned USS Intrepid, NCC-74600 as a science officer. He served on the Intrepid for four years. In 2373, Pevok was promoted to lieutenant and assigned to the Nebula class, USS T’Kumbra, where he served throughout the Dominion War.
His life reached a major turning point in 2376, when he resigned from Star Fleet and returned to Vulcan. He married his wife T’Pella, to whom he had been bonded to since the age of 7, in 2377. During this time, he joined the Vulcan Science Directorate and attained the kolinahr, the Vulcan ritual of purging all of one’s emotions.
Pevok underwent his first pon’farr in 2383 and resulted in the birth of his first child less than a year later. He named the boy Solok, after the captain of the T’Kumbra. During Solok’s early life, Pevok devoted much of his time teaching him the same discipline that he had been taught as a boy.
In 2410, Pevok decided to rejoin Star Fleet. After two years of tests and follow-up training, he was recomissioned with the rank of lieutenant and assigned to the USS Titan, CL-2007 under the command of Captain Daher.
When the Federation’s newest heavy cruiser, the USS Ticonderoga, CA-1471, was commissioned in 2412, Pevok was transferred to it along with most of the Titan senior staff.
