Personal HistoryCameron was born on Earth to his loving parents. His parents met in their early twenties when Bronson was at Star Fleet Academy and Regina was working at a nearby restaurant as a waitress. The two fell in love and married within a year.
Bronson graduated from the Academy and was assigned to a large vessel. Regina, who had one semester left before earning her bachelors degree, dropped out of college and went to live on-ship with her husband. Bronson and Regina quickly became pregnant but sadly lost the baby due to a miscarriage. A year later when Regina became pregnant again she decided to return to Earth for the pregnancy to be close to her family. Cameron’s father was present for his birth but was absent for many of his early years. When Cameron was nine his mother became pregnant again and his father, who determined not to miss another child’s early years, took a job at Star Fleet Academy from where he eventually retired.
Cameron’s young life was fairly normal. His mother had remained at home to raise him (and eventually his sister) though she eventually opened a small pastry shop that she ran out of their home. Cameron however had always been enamored with his father who he worshipped as a hero.
It was therefore not really surprising when Cameron turned down various athletic scholarships to public (and private) universities and joined Star Fleet Academy to pursue a career in the Security Department. Cameron had never been at the top of his class, his math and science scores had seen to that, but he proved to be a very capable student and excelled not only at the physical aspect of the security division but also at the strategic aspect of the division.
After graduating the Academy Cameron was assigned to the First Fleet as a Junior Security Officer. Cameron served faithfully on his vessel for years and eventually found himself promoted to the position of Chief of Security. It was in this role that Cameron really started to thrive. He seemed to be an ace at managing a department and the security department ran extremely smooth under his command. When the war with the Romulans broke out again Cameron and his vessel were move, along with the USS Enterprise, to a Special Operations Group. This group was utilized to conduct ‘sensitive’ missions during the Romulan War. During this time Cameron not only participated in but also led numerous ground assaults against Romulans.
During these battles Cameron sustained several injuries to his body. Like most others he had all visible signs of injuries removed with the exception of injuries that he sustained to his stomach and back. It was common for ground assault troops to leave a scar on their chest or back to help with identification.
Due to his accomplishments in the Romulan War Parker received several promotions, medals, and commendations. These accolades however were more of a hindrance in Cameron’s opinion. They made simply returning to his ship as Chief of Security impossible. Instead, Star Fleet Security Command called upon Cameron to serve at headquarters as an advisor and strategist. While Parker most certainly learned a lot during his time on Earth he very greatly missed being on active duty. Cameron did use the time back on Earth to further his education and become a more complete Star Fleet Officer. During his time on Earth Cameron worked for: Strategic Operation Command, Internal Security, and Federation Security.
When the Krynar threat first began Cameron jumped at the opportunity to be back on a Star Ship. Much to his surprise Cameron was not assigned to the security department upon his return to a vessel but rather as a First Officer. For a year Cameron served as the First Officer on a Light Cruiser.
Eventually Cameron was shocked yet again by being named the Commanding Officer of a Police vessel assigned to the USS Titan as an escort. The POL-20203 Oceanus proved to be a very fine vessel and Parker commander her during the Tellar Battle, during which he led a ground assault on the Tellar Planet, and during the battle in Krynar space.
