Personal History

Ciron was always drilled that he had to be the best if he wanted to be joined, and he did, but he had other dreams too, other dreams that involved flying starships, seeing what was out there, navigating through the stars and to boldly go where no man has gone before. His father, an influential Committee member of the Symbiosis Commission, allowed him to have his dreams as long as he went through the proper schooling, his mother, Chairwoman of the Senate, on the other hand hated the idea that her son would give up his status and join Starfleet. She wanted him to stay on Trill and marry a nice young lady and continue to live as he was accustomed.

Ciron’s parents made sure that he always had the best tutors while attending school, the expenditure of money paid off when by the age of thirteen, Ciron was attending the University of Science on Trill Prime. Majoring in stellar cartography and cosmology, Ciron graduated in the top ten percent of his class at the age of seventeen. At that time Ciron applied for Joining along with just about everyone else that graduated in the top of their class. While many applied, only a few were chosen on many different criteria Ciron, while not the most intelligent was the most physically able breaking several physical records and was chosen for joining. The symbiont chosen for Ciron was chosen for him by his father, the Ouse symbiont. Ouse had served as a Diplomat and politician for as long as it could remember, it never came close to any sort of action, but having been joined Ciron hopped a flight to Earth and signed up for Starfleet.

At the Academy, Ciron excelled at combat piloting and operations management. In fact his piloting skills were ranked the highest at the academy, yet several instructors worried that his unorthodox and often times reckless maneuvers would see him damage any ship he was stationed to, yet it is those very same qualities that allowed him to excel at just about any assignment given.

USS Pulsar

After Graduation Ciron was stationed to the First fleet flag ship the USS Pulsar, commanded by Admiral Dan Wueste. Ciron excelled in his piloting and ingenuity, during the mission to Elteban where he made himself indispensible. Using his experience from the Ouse symbiont, he was able to help with the negotiations and even sit in for LCdr Kayzon when he was needed elsewhere. His piloting skills were put to the test when he was required to remote pilot twenty-one different shuttles independently in orbit around the ship at the same time. For his actions and skill during the mission Ciron was promoted to the rank of Lt[JG] completely bypassing ensign, and assigned Acting Chief Tactical Officer until the orders were made official. However the mission was not without its dark moments…Lt Burrows, not only Ciron’s direct supervisor being the CTO but also his friend and mentor was killed in the line of duty, leaving his position to be filled by Ciron. Also Ciron was put on report of insubordinate behavior which has over time only gotten worse.

USS Pegasus

Ciron was then stationed to the brand new Zeus class Cruiser, the USS Pegasus, as the Chief Tactical Officer before he took leave to see his family. It was during his leave that he was called back to the Pegasus only to find that the acting CTO of the flag ship the USS Nova, Lt. Dewitt was assigned at temporary CTO. During the mission Ciron recklessly used ship weaponry to destroy incoming warheads; his actions not only caused him to be relieved of duty by Commander Ristone but also got him demoted from CTO to helmsman where he is currently serving.

Recently Ciron suffered a serious injury that required extensive surgery to fix. The Symbiosis Commission attempted to intervene and remove the symbiont from Ciron so that Ouse would be safe, but through that actions of Dr. Macleod, the surgery was a success and Ciron is alive and well, except for the fact that he is missing the usual trill spots on his face.

All the Ouse prior lives have served as politicians in some form or fashion, and one even served as a diplomat to the United Federation of Planets but other than that nothing, just Trill politics. Ever since the joining Ciron has had more interest in the political goings on of the universe, whereas before he didn’t care much.

Ciron has a fondness for archaic fighting styles from ancient Trill fencing to the Klingon bat’leth, in fact after every mission Ciron can be seen in the holodeck with a different archaic weapon fighting masters of that weapon.
