Personal History
Always bright and ostentatious. Growing up as a single child, loneliness was always a big issue for Wolf, especially when living on Starbase 4 for a good portion of his childhood. The beautiful views of Copernus III out of the lounge windows on the starbase fueled Wolf’s ambitions to join Star Fleet and explore the stars. He hopes to return to Starbase 4 someday, though his parents no longer live there. Change of scenery was never new to the Otenson family as Wolf’s father worked in Intelligence and was required to move frequently. After only a few months of living on Betazed, Wolf and his father got into a heated argument about Wolf’s future, about his decision to join Star Fleet, and his mother’s diminishing health. His father was sometimes overbearing and cruel, but his mother always seemed to hold understanding and patience for Wolf. As he grew older, Wolf began to disdain his father, both for his impatience and his tendency to belittle Wolf. To this day, Wolf and his father are not on speaking terms. Medical school seemed too easy for Wolf and he craved more, wanting to explore the stars and discover the unknown. Though medical school seemed simple, his grades never reflected this well, almost barring him from his dream of joining Star Fleet

Sense of Humor: Despite his happy demeanor, Wolf’s sense of humor is lax, due to his harsh father. Most jokes he either does not find funny, or does not show his amusement

Distinguishing Features: 6 cm scar on back of neck, from a manifestation of spinal osteoporeisus in his youth. After being nearly crippled by the degeneration of the bone, fluids, and cushioning materials surrounding his spinal cord, Wolf was rushed in to an emergency operation. An incision was necessary to inject pre-grown spinal tissue back into his spine, and to maintain it during physical therapy. An in-body bio-regeneration field was used to accelerate the healing process. This allowed scar tissue to build around the incision, and was never really dealt with. Wolf has kept the scar because of its low-profile nature and the reminder that it holds of his moments of weakness. Wolf sees the scar as something that makes him unique, and also reminds him of his inspiration for going into medicine: his surgeon and doctor during his many months of physical torment and struggle after the operation
