Personal History

Aanil was born on the USS Georgetown which was on a deep space exploration mission at the time: Her Mother was a medical lieutenant at the time and her Father was also a Lieutenant but in the Marines.

They finished the mission and a year later took a two year sabbatical to begin raising their daughter on earth. He built them a home on family property in rural Ireland and Lurrak came to enjoy the solitude of the rural life. They returned to active duty but three years later Lurrak resigned her commission and went back to Ireland to build a Medical practice and raise Aanil,

Early life for Aanil was joyful; her father’s family adored the young girl and lavished attention upon her, especially her aunt Kendra who was also a Doctor. An incident during her final year of school left her reluctant to form Mind Melds. She was assaulted by a fellow student and even though she fought her off she experienced some violent emotions from the attack and as of this time has not become confident in her use of her Telepathy.

With the encouragement of her mother and aunt Aanil joined the Academy to study Medicine, but chose to spend an extra two years to study a specific Science; Biology. Her passion was born out of her own Hybrid biology and a desire to understand all the ramifications of hybrid biology.

Her first and only assignment after graduation was on the USS Nightingale which had to be rescued from a spy who had drawn their ship across into the neutral zone. Seeing the other ship’s crew strive so heard to save their fellows inspired Aanil to leave the focussed environment of a Medical ship and move out into a exploration ship.

She applied to join the crew of the USS Charon
