Personal History
Chris was born on a bright and sunny day in November at his grandparent's old ranch in Vermont, while his brother was born two days later during a horrible storm. They grew up together with their parents in the Bahamas. When Sarah was born, the brothers became inseparable, seeing that their parents were now more focused on the new addition to the family. They spent all their time together running from island to island pretending to conquer them all. By the time they were 15 they ruled half the Caribbean.
Then it happened. One day Chris looked up and saw the future. His future. He spent the next few years dreaming of a life among the stars. His parents were delighted to hear he had applied to the Academy and his mother (more than his father) was pleased he had chosen to apply as a Science Cadet. Geoffrey would've liked to see him in a more tactical position, but he supposed it was better than David's decision.
David, who was so close to Chris, managed to completely take him, and the rest of the family, by surprise when he simply boarded a shuttle one day and left. He told no one where he had gone or with who and the family hasn't heard from him in two years. Though he missed his brother, the knowledge that his sister had shown such promise in school and his parents had backed him all through the Academy, Chris was able to draw from that knowledge and excel in his training
