The Sheridan, along with various other vessels was recalled to Starbase 157 to join with different fleets when we were attacked by an all out Romulan invasion.
Stafleet suffered some severe losses, including the Sheridan when a strange temporal event changed everything and the Romulan's retreated leaving Starfleet in a depleted though victorious situation.
The Sheridan had suffered severe damage and was relocated for a complete refit.
