Stardate: 22002After a meeting that only the CO and FO attended, I was then called to another briefing within my official capacity to inform us that the Borg had been discovered and that we were required to join the rest of the Fleet in order to try to once again eradicate them. I have never known the Borg in my lifetime, however the training I received at the Academy and the stories I have heard made me know instantly that this encounter was to be no picnic.15
Lt(jg) John Konstantin ReportingOn arrival at the scene, I scrambled Security teams around the ship. I have got to admit it felt like a mammoth task however, the teams obliged and we appeared by all accounts to have the ship fairly well covered. This was the case until we had intruders on Deck six, to which the FO and my Midshipman Art D’Tor’an as well as myself swiftly responded.

Meanwhile, I have been in communication with the engineering section as they had informed me that whatever the Borg were up to it included causing the primary warp core to overload. The core itself has been ejected as the remaining engineering officers were unable to slow this from potentially destroying the ship, and it has been launched in the direction of the Borg lines in the hope of taking some of their ships with it when it detonates, either by itself or with the aid of a well directed torpedo. Since we no longer have a primary power source, the Sheridan is currently partially adrift in the no mans land between both friendly and enemy lines. The Borg also appear to have slightly more control over some of our own systems than we doEnd Log . Since our communications compromise, we have had no further contact with the fleet. They may now consider us as unfriendly. End log.

Managing to press on, we reached our destination of the Aux Bridge where the drones there had all been disabled, much to my personal relief. After securing the area, I have had Crewman Recruit Delvia from was then able to return to the science department attempting Bridge to find out exactly what the information that the threat was sentno more. In hindsight of this mission, and it seems it was a complete transcript I am very proud of every communication sent or received prior my team as they pull together to continue to make the USS Sheridan the finest ship in the sending including presumably all specifications and battle plans forwarded to our main computersFleet.
