Personal History

Mori was born into the Orano household on Betazed, as the middle child she always felt like she was competing with her siblings, she wanted to stand out from the rest of her house and family, so she went to Darona to become a scientist of sorts, but unfortunately her two other Siblings followed suit. Mori started to grow bitter towards her sister Ki'sa because she was accomplishing things that she had always dreamed of doing, not only that her sister was a complete idiot in her eyes and yet everyone always loved Ki'sa no matter how clumsy she was.

After spending four years on Darona, Mori decided to quit the scientific field. She was failing in her chosen field anyway and the other scientists never had taken her seriously. Mori started to train to be a House Guard after she gave up her desires to become a scientist. What was the point? Her sister was on her way to Starfleet and she was still stuck in the same place invisible to the rest of the Betazoid community.

After she had became a full Guard, Mori was assigned to go to space station Alpha to retrieve her sister. Ki'sa was supposed to of broken some House rules while serving aboard the USS Intrepid which Mori found to be the perfect opportunity to set her sister straight. Things did not go to well for Mori as the Intrepid crew managed to evict her and her men back to Betazed where she reported her findings to her Mother Cas'ro Orano.

Her father on the other hand did not seem to give Mori the time of day either, he was a member of the Noble House, so had very little to do with his Daughter. Growing up Mori would sneak into the Noble estates just to take a quick glance of her father to see what he was doing. He was often in his study doing some sort of paper work, if it was not for the guards escorting her back to her House Mori could of just stayed there for hours watching her father work.

Mori went from position to position failing at everything that she laid her hands on, things here starting to look dire for Mori until she started to take an interest in Engineering. She found that she had a knack for fixing things. After a while Mori went and applied for Starfleet Academy. Her mother and Brother never noticed her absence anyway so she went in and Graduated at the top of her new field. Mori had changed her last name to Lunori so that people wouldn't mistake her for her younger Sister, so that she could finally become a separate being from the Orano household.

Alas what really got on her nerves was the resemblance she had to Ki'sa. Everyone that knew Ki'sa would comment on how much alike they where, but in reality they had separate personalities, Mori was more Isolated than Ki'sa. She had a harder time making friends, she was not even clumsy, there was nothing remarkable about Mori in anyway or at least that's what she thought.

Mori felt a true sense of achievement after completing her Starfleet training, in a way she started to understand why her sister wanted to join so badly in the first place. There is a whole lot of space out there ready to be explored, and maybe now she could truly find peace among the stars.

First Contact Day

Mori was invited by Admiral Anderson to the First Contact Day event which was held on Earth. She spent most of her time avoiding people until she bumped into a human doctor who introduced himself as Daniel Brooks. The two officers seemed to get on rather nicely, so Brooks asked Lunori out on a date. After their date, they said goodbye and went their separate ways, or so Lunori thought. The doctor showed up on her doorstep not an hour later soaking wet from the rain. After indulging in carnal activities, Brooks left Lunori without saying a word. When she awoke the next morning, she felt sad and used. She never planned to see him again anyway so she tried to forget about it.

USS Ozaki, PFF-7168

While Mori was on her last away mission with the Ozaki, she was assigned to the first away team to investigate a planet, where there were rumors about a super killer virus that was wiping out the planet’s population. While investigating with two fellow officers, she came across a shuttle that was made of strange parts. Some of the parts of the shuttle had been brought from Vulcan, Earth, Bajor, and Cardassia.

While the away team took tricorder readings of the craft, Lunori preformed an ancient Betazoid ritual that would let her see events in the past. While she was searching for clues that could help the team find out what was happening on the planet, she was attacked by a shadow figure and led to a secret compartment on the shuttle that contained a vile of the virus that was affecting the planet.

After a couple of minutes, one of the away team members pushed Lunori into the vile which caused her to have a fit of some kind. She was quickly rushed to a medical facility on the planet where things went from bad to worse. Her DNA was being destroyed and then remade. It was killing the Betazoid Engineer. Once the away team got the all clear, they transported Lunori back to the Ozaki to get treatment, but alas the medical team was not up for the challenge. After the away teams where recalled to the ship, Tam ordered the crew to leave Lunori on Star Base Bravo where she could be treated. Lunori saw this as a betrayal. She thought they just ditched her there. People who she thought were her friends. It broke her heart.

USS Copernicus, GSC-9035

After her traumatic ordeal, Lunori requested a transfer to the USS Copernicus where she would start her new adventure, but before she could settle in she was called on her second away mission. She was ordered to repair a strange looking ship that could go underwater.

The underwater ship, the Dysprosium, that is part of the Copernicus shuttle fleet, was damaged in an attack by the native people of the planet. She was ordered to do a spacewalk to repair the hull. An explosion blew her off the hull and sent her hurtling into space during the repairs. She managed to pull herself together just in time using her thrusters and was able to fly back to the hull and finish completing repairs. Once back inside the Dysprosium, she also helped complete warp core repairs. Needless to say, she never wanted to go on another away mission as long as she lived.

During shore leave Lunori took a break and went into ten forward where she bumped into none other than the infamous Doctor Brooks. They screamed and yelled at each other causing a scene. Yet again, they went their separate ways until she knocked him over in the holodeck during the holiday event. There they had another heated conversation.

A couple of weeks after the Christmas event, Lunori managed to talk to Brooks civilly. They managed to sort out there differences and they started to get to know each other in a more stable environment this time. During the party she became friends with a Vulcan called T'pell. After their second date, Brooks and Lunori chose to give their strange relationship a try. No amount of scientific research could explain why they had this connection, but she knew it was something special.

Lunori awaited her next adventure.

USS Sheridan, DD-4086

When Mori transfered to the Sheridan she was accompanied by her so called fiance whom had her under some sort of mental brainwash, she eventually ended up in a telepathic struggle as His grip on her was becoming weaker, Brooks, Harrison and couple of other officers managed to capture Von and enter his mind so they could free Lunori, in the mean time she was having problems with Commander Brooks as he found out she was pregnant with his child which later turned out to be twins, she ended up giving birth on Pioneer station and remained there with her mother Cas'ro Orano so she could under go treatment and therapy.

After the Doctors where happy that she was okay, Lunori went through months of Tactical training as she wanted to change her role as a Star fleet officer she passed with flying colour and asked the Captain of the Sheridan if she could transfer back. She then became a mother of two wonderful Twins Sean and Ki'sa, with high hopes of spending time with them during shore leave.

Sadly, Mori was Killed in Action while on mission on Taybor II on Stardate 22201.28.
