Personal History

The Lohst family had been successful tailors for several generations and although not every family member went into the business, they were all expected to contribute in some way. When Timo was born on Bolarus IX, the family was planning to move to Starbase Charlie and from that point onwards the young Bolian was caught up in a constant flurry of moving on to wherever the business went.

When Timo was old enough to join Star Fleet, he was quick to leave the family business, despite his success in learning the craft. With what money he had saved and searching for the kind of thrills he had never experienced as a young male, Timo departed for Earth and entered the Academy as a Security Cadet.

He did not possess great physical strength and was nothing more than average in his weapons and combat training, but Timo was a good speaker and hard worker with attention to detail and excellent reasoning skills. Accepting his qualities in brains rather than brawn, Timo was eventually assigned to the USS Dauntless.

Personality Profile

Academy Major(s): Criminal Investigation, Administration
Academy Minor(s): Negotiation, Instructing
Hobbies and Pastimes: Unsurprisingly, Timo enjoys making clothes for others in his spare time
Short-Term Goals: Attempt to fit in with his new crewmates after years of solitude
Long-Term Goals: Become a drill instructor or criminal investigator aboard a vessel
Personality: To the point with his opinions, but good natured and protective of others. He can be overly analytical of his own actions and the actions of others and this in turn can make him a perfectionist in his work.
Sense of Humor: Dry
Likes: Solving mysteries
Dislikes: People being too loud or boisterous
Pet Peeves or Gripes: Laziness and over-dramatics
Achievements: Graduating higher than expected at the Academy
Disappointments: Never forming a closer relationship with Lim
Strengths: Problem solving, either with his duties or with the emotional struggles of others. In another life, Timo might’ve been a counsellor
Weaknesses: Not suited to a combat role, can be hard to persuade to end a job unfinished
Fears: Getting shot at
Friends: His parent’s moving business meant that Timo rarely got a chance to make any good friends, although he was close to a Bolian female called Lim at the Academy. The pair did not get the chance to form a true bond as they were both assigned to their respective vessels.

Personal Paradigm Shifts

Most Painful Experience: Growing up was difficult for Timo, he constantly feared that he was not getting as much life experience as he thought he should
Best Time: Life in the Academy was nothing but fun for Timo
Role Model: Timo always looked up to his father due to his hard working spirit and desire to solve other people’s problems
