Personal History

Adopted to human Parents, Lideah spent most of her youth wondering how she fit in. It was always clear to her, that she was different. All through out school things were always difficult for her, and it was mostly due to her Klingon side. With a hot temper, and quick fists; she got in to a lot of fights. Most of them were to protect her older brother and younger sister. The closest to an actual age they could guess was about a year younger than Dominik and three weeks older than Karla. Even though Lideah never really let herself get close to most of her family, she was always close with Karla, as well as Kai. For some reason that Lideah could never explain there had been some kind of connection between them, as Kai would explain its because she was the first Human that could calm down Lideah as a baby. Soon after that Kai talked Gerhard in to adopting her in to the family, because she could not let her go. It was also a fear of Kai that no one else on earth could ever handle a girl like Lideah, and would have a very bad future if she was going from home to home to home. The only thing that the nursing staff could tell them about Lideah was her name, and how she was found in a small craft of unknown origin.

It wasn't until later when she joined Star fleet, where she learned how to keep her temper in check. She stayed with Star Fleet for a few years, but something always was calling her away. Finally she needed to go find people that were just like her, and took an extended personal leave. That was when she set out to find her people, and they were not easy to find.

After weeks of searching, she finally found them on a planet in the Klingon Empire. Unknowing to her, there were hundreds of people there just like her. What started off as few blossomed in to many more. It was a place where both Klingons and Romulans could co habitat in peace. She stayed there for a few months, and things started to go wrong.

The Klingon Empire got wind of this place and decided they would destroy it, and sent waves of ground troops. That is when her training kicked in, and was able to take command of a small squad of twenty. They were able to fight off some of the raiding parties, but soon came to the conclusion that they were never going to stop. So the hard choice had to be made, they had to take the three ships they had and vacate the planet. Of the three ships that left the planet, only two made it out of Klingon space.

With heavy damage to both ships, making it to Federation space, where Lideah knew they were going to be safe. It was a long and hard travel, and now with random Romulan attacks it made things even harder. It was close to the Federation boarder, that the second ship exploded and left the last ship in critical condition. Soon after crossing in to Federation space the ship went adrift, and everything went wrong.

With cascading ship problems, it started to explode all around them and Lideah started to fear the worst. It was very fortunate that there was a Federation ship. They were able to beam most of the crew on to the ship, and Lideah was unaware because she was out cold. It was not until a few days later when Lideah came back round on a Federation outpost, where she was groggy and confused. At first she thought the worst, and attempted to break free but couldn't.

It took a while of medical treatment, that Lideah didn't make easy for anyone, because she did not like it in sickbay anywhere. She also needed a lot of counseling, and it started off pretty hard and got easier. After that Lideah had to go through some basic training again, that way she would be able to observe the command structure that is in place. She came through it with flying colors, and awaited re assignment.
