Personal History

Born and raised in the sleepy granite built fishing village of Fraserbrugh, on the east coast of Scotland. C-J excelled at her local academy. Her tutors recommended to her parents she went onto university, and so she attended Kings College at Cambridge.

At Cambridge, where she received a PhD in applied Dynamics, and a masters in Psudo-procrastination, she met a dashing under-graduate by the name of Jools Sivitar. Jools was everything she ever wanted in a man, and on the day of her final exams proposed to her.

C-J accepted, but just two hours later, Jools was killed when an experimental Soliton generator exploded while he was preparing for his dissertation on the subject.

Distraught with grief, C-J returned home to Fraserbrugh, where she remained for nearly a year until she realised it was time to finally move on and get on with her life.

Gaining a place at Johns Hopkins, Baltimore through the GHSC (Gregory House Scholarship Commission), which had been set up in the early to mid twenty-first century to help students with exceptional talent but short funding to attend the hallowed medical school, C-J achieved a 2-2 in Oncology, and a Bachelor in Endocrinology.

While there, she became a semi recluse however. Never wanting to go out with her fellow students, instead always studying. Mostly as although she never showed it, she still missed Jools.

After graduating, C-J never wanted to join Star Fleet directly, but as most jobs were in some way attached to Star Fleet, instead she decided to take a year (or two) out to travel.

Arriving on the Olean colony, she started to help out in the medical facility and use her doctoring skills to help pay for her board and lodging while she stayed.

After the explosion that nearly destroyed the planets ecology, she left the colony on the Sheridan set for Starbase Bravo.

Later, she stowed away on the Sheridan as she discovered it was the only ship that was going to be leaving the station for several weeks.

It wasn’t until a ship wide accident that she was discovered as she was helping the injured. Later she was taken on as a full (thought still a civilian), member of the crew.
