| − | |History= Khalid and Lenoree Almazi were political refugees from the Mirak Star League. The exact reasons were not clear, except that Khalid had once been a leading figure and there was some sort of falling out.

| − | They fled and claimed political asylum. Two years after they were accepted and moved to San Francisco; Jelaya was born.

| − | She was a gifted child who could do math before she could form complete sentences, and by the time she was old enough she was easily accepted into the Engineering program at the Academy.
