Personal History
Jackie Komar was born to Christine Winsley in Sacramento CA. She raised her as a single mother until Jackie was 10, Christine was a History Professor at the University where she met Christopher who was visiting his brother Paul. They married and Christopher adopted Jackie, giving her his surname. Jackie had a happy home-life for the most part. She excelled at sports, particularly gymnastics. She had many friends but her best friend was Trey. Their mothers had gone to school together and both taught at the University. Jackie, Michael, and Trey were inseparable. Being the only girl, Jackie was always competing against them.
At 13, Jackie started wondering about her real father and asked her mother about it. Christine would not divulge who their father is. They got in many fights over this. Finally, seeing the pain in mother's eyes, Jackie never asked again though she has not forgotten and hope to find him one day.
Jackie shared her mother's love of history but what really got her heart racing was flying. Her adoptive father was a commercial shuttle craft pilot and would take her up sometimes and let her sit at the controls.
Trey and Jackie entered Star Fleet academy together but in their third year, Trey's mother died unexpectedly and he left the academy. They have dated on and off through high school but neither is ready for a long term relationship and for now enjoy the friendship they continue.
