Personal History

Raised by decedents of the Kohn-Ma resistance cell, at least that is what she was told by her caregivers. Parents dead before she was old enough to ask who or where they were. She was passed between caretakers until she could fend for herself. Living the life of a resistance fighter, she was taught to hate Cardassians even though the occupation had ended in 2369. She was sly, cunning and evaded any form of authority. She continued to cause trouble, even when the Federation came to offer friendship to the Bajorans. She became a fair mechanic, scavenging parts where she could find them and fixing whatever was needed to survive or just to get along.

However, eventually she was caught dismantling an ancient shuttle craft only to find out that it held a special place in the heart of her Starfleet captor. She was given an opportunity to work as a shuttle pilot, if she could keep her nose clean. At about 21 she decided to join Starfleet as a pilot.
