Personal HistoryHarold Jackson was born in Bradbury City, one of the main cities established on Terra’s Moon. Born to his parents, Charlotte and Thomas Jackson, Harold was the second of four siblings. From the earliest age that he can remember, Harold has been fascinated by science in general, surprising his parents by asking for science textbooks for birthday and Christmas presents from the age of 11. Where this fascination came from, even Harold cannot be entirely certain, but it was undoubtedly influenced by his best friend, Steven Hardshire. Friends for as long as they can remember, Steven’s father was Chief Science Officer onboard the USS Pharaoh for a number of years. When he returned on leave, he would regale the two boys with fascinating stories of his adventures onboard the Frigate; tales of alien beings, of phages and viruses, of emergency operations on infected crewmen, and even aliens themselves engrossed the two boys, backed up with holovids and holograms.
As such, it was no real surprise to his parents when Harold applied to join Star Fleet Academy as a Sciencve Cadet, becoming interested in the study of the Borg as a sideline to his studies, as well as majoring in Planetary Studies. He worked hard at the Academy, finding himself easily adjusting to the atmosphere of the facility and making a number of friends with his easy-going personality. He finally graduated a respectable fifth in his class, earning praise for submitting an award-winning paper on the Borg in his last year at the Academy. Throughout his life he suffered from taunts about his completely white eye, including the iris, which resulted in him gaining the nickname of 'Milky' despite his best attempts at ridding himself of it
