Hypospray

A standard hypospray.

Medical instrument used for subcutaneous and intramuscular administration of medications. The device uses compressed air to transfer its contents into the body without the use of a needle. Drugs can be loaded into the hypospray by attaching vials to the end of the instrument. Controls at the injection head set the dosage. The typical injection site is the side of the neck, but injection can occur anywhere, even through clothing. A hypospray can be used on multiple patients without fear of spreading blood-borne illnesses.

The hyposprays found in medikits can be loaded with multiple drugs, but this means that there is a much lower quantity of those drugs.
