Personal History
Raquel is the only child of Rakel and Ranya Huntur. She was named after her father who was killed in an accident shortly after her birth. She was a precocious young girl, and she had a smile and apparent sweetness that helped her get many of the things that she wanted. She grew up into a beautiful young woman, possessing a high IQ and interest in the universe around her. Her secondary school work was by far exceptional and a visit by a Star Fleet frigate’s crew to a school assembly, clinched her future path.

Personal Paradigm Shifts
Most Painful Experience: Not being able to get Vreean Tru-Abaa to love her. The CSO was a beautiful man and Raquel was hopelessly attracted to him. To get closer to him, she pursued a friendly relationship then Midshipman Sring, but during the Vulcan’s pon farr...Huntur took advantage of the young Vulcan woman’s vulnerability and during the mind-meld, Raquel took command and extracted as much of Sring’s knowledge and feelings of Tru-Abaa...it was essentially a mental rape. There in Sring’s mind...Raquel knew she had no chance to win Vree’s love. The incident was never officially reported.
Best Time: The initial meeting of Vree Tru-Abaa. It was virtual love at first sight...she was more than willing to let him have his wife, Mahla; Raquel would accept being his mistress.
Most Crucial Experience: Her time in exile on deep space science outpost Regula 24, gave her a long time to think. At first she planned to extract some sort of revenge n Vree...but as the months went on, and then it was a year...her hatred evaporated. She had deserved her punishment. She made a pact with the universe that if she ever returned to an active role on a starship, she would be a much better person.
Role Model: The brilliant Tongo Rad, a gifted man in the field of space studies. He had inspired Catuallans for generations, of which Raquel was no exception
