Personal History
Kaitlin was born on Earth, in San Francisco. She grew grew up in her older sister’s shadow. Where Rachael was the good girl, who followed the rules, Kaitlin was a tomboy with the bad girl edge, who tended to rebel against her parents’ rules and expectations. Her rebellious attitude frequently got her into trouble at school. Her father designed civilian shuttles, and her mother stayed at home to raise the children. Like her sister, Kaitlin was a fair student, and her greatest strength was playing flight simulators. During high school, she followed in her sister’s shadow and worked part-time for her father’s company. She spent her first two years out of high school working for her father’s company, and experimenting with her sexuality. Then, once more following after her older sister, Kaitlin joined Star Fleet to become a Marine fighter pilot, having been enamored by the stories of adventure and danger told by the fighter jocks she hung around on weekends. Her fiery temper got into trouble several times at the Academy, and earned her the nickname “Wildcat” among her friends and fellow pilot trainees. Her first assignment after of flight school was to Dagger Flight, aboard the USS Dauntless.

Illnesses: Beyond the normal human childhood illnesses, the following two illnesses are of note: Kaitlin is prone to Transporter Shock; An easily cured, but embarrassing, case of gonorrhea, a “gift” from one of her post-high school boyfriends, when Kaitlin was 19.
