Personal History
Harold was once a medical officer on a Star Fleet vessel along with Michelle who was serving as a communications officer on the same vessel. The two of them kept their relationship mostly a secret from the rest of the crew but as fate would have it, Michelle became pregnant to the surprise of Michelle, Harold, and the crew. After a long talk with the Captain, who was displeased with the circumstances, he agreed to allow Harold and Michelle to be discharged from Star Fleet to start this family of theirs. Before disembarking though, the captain also agreed to marry them both in a small ceremony abroad the ship with a handful of the crew as witnesses.
Life had thrown them both a curve ball so they had to adapt to the new family life with each other and little Gabriel. Harold and Michelle settled down in a small town and opened a small doctor’s office near the center of town. While Harold tended to the patients, Michelle ran the daily business aspects of the office. Gabriel spent his infant years in a makeshift play area in the corner of his parent’s office while his parents tried their best to make a life for him.
Gabriel’s childhood was a simple one compared to most. There wasn’t a day where Gabriel and Kerri weren’t getting into some kind of trouble. More often than not, they ended being grounded for days at a time but that didn’t stop them from playing games with each other since their bedroom windows faced each other.
In his teens, Gabriel would spend most of his summers in his parents’ doctors office answering the phone, setting up appointments for his fathers’ patients and helping his mom with what ever little mindless task she could think of for him to do. Every so often, Gabriel would end up sneaking out of the office to meet up with Kerri to go swimming or to just pal around. Gabriel would usually end up with double the amount of work the next day as punishment but he was used to it.
With having two parents who served in Star Fleet and since he had naturally steady hands like his father, it easy for Gabriel to decide on joining Star Fleet Medical to follow in his fathers’ foot steps. Though they were inseparable for their entire lives, Kerri was hesitant on joining Star Fleet. For the first time in his life, Gabriel was truly on his own.

Pets: None at home but his parents had a small aquarium with 5 gold fish at their office that Gabriel would feed and tend to when ever he was at the office.
Friends: Kerri Delevan, 22. Both Keri and Gabriel lived next door to each other their whole lives. Though they both won't admit it, they have feelings for each other that go deeper than being just friends.
Personal Paradigm Shifts
Most Painful Experience: One day while at his parents office, one his is fathers’ patients started convulsing on the floor in the waiting room. Gabriel watched has his father tried to save the person’s life but was unable too.
Best Time: On a warm summer night when Gabriel and Kerri were teens, they both sat around a small bonfire after a taking a late-night swim. She was sitting next to him on a log, her arm wrapped around his and her head on his shoulder, both staring at the flame. It was in this moment that a rush of feelings flowed into Gabriel’s heart and mind. This was the first time Gabriel realized that he was falling in love with his best friend.
Most Crucial Experience: Watching as his fathers’ patient died in front of his eyes while he could only just stand and do nothing. Gabriel hated the feeling of not being able to help.
Role Model: Harold and Michelle Fairen. His parents have always been a big part of Gabriel’s life and he has always been fascinated by their stories of being in Star Fleet.
