The President released his annual newsletter this month. He outlines many of the changes that have taken place over the past year on Federation Space, and outlines where the site is headed. Each year in late November, nominations begin for Federation Space's Yearly Awards. The top 3 nominee's in each catagory are then voted upon by the general membership with the winners being announced January 1st.
